–Thank you to NYC's Breakthru Radio for asking me to come on the show to talk about NewNewYorkers. Always love talking about what it's like to pick up and move to Manhattan, and how to thrive there.

—I was thrilled to be tapped as the copy editor for "5280: The Cookbook", the award-winning Denver city magazine's first-ever collection of recipes from Denver and Boulder's best local chefs.

—It was an honor to be profiled in the Missouri School of Journalism's J-School Magazine.

Oh hello!

I'm a freelance writer and editor based in Boulder, Colo., mainly covering wellness, health, sustainability, and small business. My work has appeared in O, The Oprah Magazine, Prevention, WWD, Denver's 5280, 5280 Health, and 5280 Home, plus many trade magazines and journalism blogs. Of late, my byline can regularly be seen in fitness trade Club Industry, where I cover issues relevant to health-club owners, and PM Network, an internationally distributed trade magazine catering to project managers.

As a copy editor, my red pen touches down on everything from books and magazines to newsletters and academic essays. For Phoenix-based Bigfish Publications, I oversee the copy editing for each of its four trade magazines, while Denver's Clyfford Still Museum makes use of my expertise for its award-winning quarterly newsletter, Words on Paper.

Below are a few of my most-recent pieces. Thank you for your interest in my work! Please visit the Hire Me page for more on how we can work together.
